"SCORE" is a first‐of‐its‐kind documentary that
dives into the crea$ve process of film scores. Track‐
ing the progress of modern‐day film score develop‐
ment, SCORE will illustrate how the first few notes
on a piano keyboard end up in the most drama$c
moments of a film's emo$onal climax. Turning the
spotlight on the crea$ve struggles that make up a
major mo$on picture score, this documentary will
showcase the way the world's top soundsmiths
solve musical challenges — from the crea$ve to the
technical. "SCORE" explores the power of film music
as an art form, and why it's famously been used to
score gradua$on ceremonies, weddings, and even
the President of the United States. Plunging into
the tricks composers use to make a powerful mo‐
ment s$ck in our hearts, "SCORE" will detail how
well‐$med melodies and unconven$onal sounds
can turn heroes into villains and tension into tri‐
umph. The film will break down the anatomy of a
compelling major mo$on picture score, and un‐
cover the passion and raw talents required to write
a score that echoes in moviegoers' heads for
decades.

A reckless sailing expedi$on to Antarc$ca, done on
a hand‐built gypsy boat crewed by a band of wan‐
dering miscreants.
The vessel is Infinity, a 120 " hand‐built gypsy boat,
crewed by a band of miscreants. The journey, an
8,000 mile pacific crossing, from New Zealand to
Patagonia, with a stop in Antarc$ca. Unlike all the
other boats heading to Antarc$ca though, Infinity is
no well‐financed, ice‐reinforced super yacht,
crewed by well‐paid professional sailors, with care‐
fully thought out agendas. Infinity lives in the mo‐
ment and sails on a whim, without permission or
insurance of any kind. What can to be found in
abundance onboard, is blood, sweat, enthusiasm,
disdain for authority and an ample supply of alco‐
hol, a mad voyage of reckless adventure just for the
thrill of it.
Along the way the crew will ba!le a force 12 hurri‐
cane of ice in the Ross Sea, assist the radical envi‐
ronmental group Sea Shepherd in their fight with
Japanese whalers, tear every sail they have and un‐
wi%ngly go further south than any other sailing
vessel in 2014. Underlying the drama$c sailing ad‐
venture, is the quest for awe and sense of wonder
with the raw power of the natural world. It plays
out as a witness to the voyage, following a few of
the crew on their daily rou$ne from char$ng their
course down to the $ny details of maintaining the
boat.
The story touches on environmental ac$vism
themes, a rapidly diminishing ecosystem and raw
adventure, not reserved for the elite.
